カナダでの学生生活を通して、ギター製作・リペアをライフスタイルの一部にする楽しみを覚えました。そして、留学生の指導を通し、自分の人生をより楽しむための技術習得をお手伝いすることの喜びを知りました。現在、ギター工房を営みながら、ギター製作、リペアを主とした活動としています。
Since 2005, we have been building and repairing guitars and ukuleles in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. We deal with various types of guitars and ukuleles, but specialize in Selmer-Maccaferri gypsy guitars. We are sorry that we don’t have an English website. ■Biograpy
1979年栃木県さくら市生まれ。
大学卒業後、カナダバンクーバー島のギター製作学校Summit Guitar Building and Repairを卒業。
2005年より地元栃木県さくら市にてAtguitarsとして工房を運営。以来ギター、ウクレレ等の製作・修理を行っている。
あらゆる種類のギター、ウクレレを製作してきたが、国内では珍しいジプシーギターの製作も行っている。.
Born in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan in 1979.
After graduating from collage, I went to guitar building school in Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada.
After graduating the Summit school of guitar building and repair in Vancouver Island, opened my shop in 2005.
Since then, I've been building and repairing guitars and ukuleles in my hometown. Sakura, Tochigi,Japan.
I’ve been working on almost any kinds of guitars, such as acoustic guitars, electric guitars, arch-top guitars, nylon stringed guitars, gypsy guitars and ukuleles.
My speciality on building is Jazz guitars, especially gypsy guitars which is often called Selmer-Maccaferri style guitars.
Our mission is to help my customer’s life time partner.
A good instrument should look fine, easy to play, and sounds sweet to the player.
I think that makes the players happy to play the instrument and even make they play better.
I believe that finding suitable instruments for someone is similar to meeting good friends or partner.And it makes their life richer.
